Company to hold multiple events globally to further promote M5M
COPPELL, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 10, 2013--
Mannatech®,
Incorporated (NASDAQ: MTEX),
the founder of the Mission 5 MillionSM social entrepreneurial
movement, and leading innovator of nutritional
glycobiology and naturally-sourced supplements based on
Real Food Technology® solutions, recently completed the
official launch of its Mission 5 Million movement, and is
announcing its expanded global events calendar for the remainder of 2013
to further support the expansion of the movement. The Mission
5 Million, or M5MSM, movement represents the
company’s commitment to linking five million consumers of Real Food
Technology supplementation with five million children in need to help
fight global malnutrition.
The official launch took place at the company’s Branson2013
event in Branson, Missouri, over August 30-31, 2013. At the
event, the company held a moving ceremony where Mannatech executives and
founders planted the M5M flag, symbolizing the company’s commitment to
its mission and staking its claim as the world’s first social
entrepreneurship company to offer a revenue-sharing rewards program.
A featured guest speaker at the event was best-selling author and
recently retired pediatric neurosurgeon Dr.
Ben Carson. Attendance exceeded expectations, hosting just over
one thousand Mannatech Associates from both the United States and Canada.
Mannatech will continue its aggressive events strategy, both in North
America and throughout its other global markets, for the remainder of
the year. The recently
opened Hong Kong market will host its first Mannatech Vision
Program (MVP) later this week, while an extensive tour of North America
will also kick off this week and last through October. Major
international conventions will be held in Europe, Australia and Japan
over October and November. In addition, Mannatech Korea will again be
sponsoring the Seoul Marathon in late October. North America is also
holding the M5M
Leadership Experience event in November, in Frisco, Texas,
featuring many guest speakers and Mannatech leaders.
“Our Mission 5 Million (M5M) movement requires sustained momentum to
reach its full potential. We’re seeing that momentum build with our
independent associates and it will be reinforced during our global
corporate events in 2013 and beyond,” explained Dr.
Robert Sinnott, Mannatech CEO and Chief Science Officer. “Our
Branson2013 leadership event was a very productive and moving event for
our North American field force and all others in attendance. Now, our
job is to spread this message as rapidly as we can, and to involve as
many people as we can, from all over the world. We are looking forward
to a busy and highly productive year-end for Mannatech.”
