New Patent Issued for Mannatech’s Ambrotose® Technology

Japan Patent Office grants 53rd patent for product technology

COPPELL, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2012-- Mannatech, Incorporated (NASDAQ: MTEX), the leading innovator and provider of naturally sourced supplements based on Real Food Technology® solutions, announced today that the Japan Patent Office has granted the company a patent for technologies related to Ambrotose® complex. The patent is officially titled “Compositions of Plant Carbohydrates as Dietary Supplements.”
