New Patent Issued for Mannatech's Product Technology
Patent granted in Australia for Ambrotose AO product further validates industry leadership

COPPELL, Texas, Jan 11, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Mannatech, Incorporated(NASDAQ: MTEX), a leading developer and provider of nutritional supplements and skin care products based on Real Food TechnologySM solutions, announced today the Australian Patent Office has granted the company a patent for technology related to its Ambrotose AO(R)product.

With the issuance of this new patent, Mannatech now holds 12 patents for technology related to Ambrotose AO in Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and South Korea.
