“It is a true honor to be selected again to participate in this exciting game,” said Lieberman. “I’m in the best shape of my life thanks to training, proper exercise and a well-regimented diet complete with daily use of Mannatech products.”
North Texas-based Mannatech is a global pioneer in the development of high-quality health, weight and fitness and skin care solutions based on nutritional science. Lieberman was introduced to the Team Mannatech program by former four-time NBA All-Star Otis Birdsong when she made a comeback to the WNBA at the age of 38.
The Team Mannatech program, overseen by former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Butch Johnson, Mannatech’s senior director of community affairs and sports marketing, is a group of 195 athletes worldwide who utilize cutting-edge training techniques and proper nutrition while serving as educators preserving the integrity of sports competition and the health of all athletes.
“We are so proud of Nancy’s achievements and to have her as a part of our team,” said Johnson. “She is a strong model of what proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle can do for a career. We look forward to her continued success with the Dallas Mavericks NBA Development League team and through her Nancy Lieberman Foundation. It is an honor to work with her.”
Lieberman recently made history when she was named the first female head coach of the NBA Development League team in Frisco, Texas. She is also the youngest basketball player in Olympic history to win a medal, a three-time college all-American and a member of the Class of 1996 for the Basketball Hall of Fame.
