Coppell, Texas, March 18, 2009 – Mannatech, Incorporated (NASDAQ - MTEX), a leading developer and provider of proprietary dietary supplements, weight management products and skin care solutions, held MannaFest 2009 – its 15th annual global convention this past weekend in Dallas, which was broadcast live online and accessed by more than 20,000 independent sales Associates around the world.
Opening night, Dallas City Council member Carolyn R. Davis, District 7, presented a proclamation thanking Mannatech for creating jobs and income opportunities for people in Dallas and around the world. Additionally, proclamations from U.S. Congressman Kenny E. Marchant and Texas State Representatives Senfronia Thompson and Jim Jackson stated that Mannatech is an organization of integrity, purpose and principle and wished Mannatech and its hundreds of thousands of Associates the best as they fulfill the need of wellness globally.
